The eTwinning project ''Digital Explorers and Promoters of Cultural Heritage'' - the results of the final evaluation forms for teachers


In March 2025, the fourteen teachers from France, Greece, Romania and Turkey, who have been implementing the eTwinning project ''Digital Explorers and Promoters of Cultural Heritage'' since September 2024, filled in the final evaluation questionnare. 

When asked which project goals had been achieved by the participants in the eTwinning project ''Digital Explorers and Promoters of Cultural Heritage'', the teachers provided the following answers:
  • intercultural dialogue, creative expression, student agency and digital literacy through international collaboration and good practice exchange - 92,9%;
  • experiencing active participation in the preservation of cultural heritage and promotion of sustainable tourism - 92,9%;
  • gaining a deeper appreciation and understanding of cultural heritage - 85,7%;
  • improved knowledge, attitudes, skills and key competences for lifelong learning - 78,6%;
When asked which key-competences for lifelong learning had been developed or improved by the students during the project, the teachers selected the following answers:
  • cultural awareness and expression - 100%;
  • personal, social and learning to learn competence - 92,9%;
  • digital competence - 85,7%;
  • multilingual competence (in English) - 78,6%;
  • citizenship competence - 71,4%.
The 21st century skills developed or improved by the students during the project were:
  • Learning Skills (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication) - 92,9%;
  • Life Skills (flexibility, leadership, initiative, productivity, social skills) - 78,6%;
  • Literacy Skills (information, media, technology) - 71,4%.
All the teachers confirmed that the international project ''Digital Explorers and Promoters of Cultural Heritage'' complied with the eTwinning quality standards, including adherence to netiquette and copyright rules. A vast majority of the teachers - 92,9% - considered the students' participation in the international partnership as a positive learning experience. Moreover, all the partners expressed their intention to apply for a National Quality Label in 2025.

The teachers' final evaluation confirms that “Digital Explorers and Promoters of Cultural Heritage” was a highly successful international collaboration. Not only did it meet its main goals, but it also provided a dynamic and enriching environment for developing both academic and (inter)personal skills. By combining digital tools with cultural exploration, the project stands as a model of innovative, cross-border learning that supports holistic student development and fosters the values of European cooperation and cultural appreciation.
