Celebrating Mihai Eminescu on Romania's National Culture Day 2023 - "Dor de Eminescu/Missing Our National Poet"
The Romanian people celebrate the National Culture Day on January 15th, the date of birth of our national poet, Mihai Eminescu. On this occasion, at Liceul Teoretic 'Radu Vlădescu', in Pătârlagele town, Buzău county, the 9th graders enrolled in the humanities class acknowledged his inspirational genius as well as his beloved legacy with a transdisciplinary lesson, the first activity of the educational project "Dor de Eminescu/ Missing Our National Poet" (2023-2024).

Bookfest 2024 - 50 multimedia presentations created by 11th grade students
”Bookfest 2024” is a transnational competition and one of the main activities of the homonymous
eTwinning project founded in 2023 by two eTwinning schools 2023-2024: Liceul Teoretic "Radu
Vlădescu", located in Pătârlagele, Romania and Liceul Teoretic “Mihai Eminescu”, located in Florești, the
Republic of Moldova.
From the initial number of 50 multimedia resources (23 digital presentations and 27 self-recorded video speeches), 10 presentations were selected for the transnational competition final. The jury will evaluate and decide the winners of the competition based on the following criteria: content - 20 points, delivery - 20 points, creativity and originality - 20
points; impact and persuasion - 20 points, language accuracy and pronunciation - 20 points.

The 1st prize will be awarded for 95-100 points, the 2nd prize will be awarded for 90-94 points, the 3rd
prize will be awarded for 85-89 points and Honorary Mentions will be awarded for 80-84 points.
All the competition winners and the coordinating teachers will receive diplomas signed and stamped
by the principals of both partner schools. The competition winners will be announced and promoted on
the eTwinning project TwinSpace before January 31st 2024.
