Bookfest 2023 - dissemination of project activities

Bookfest 2023, a local transdisciplinary eTwinning project whose main aim was to identify and integrate knowledge, skills, innovative teaching, learning and assessment techniques transgressing disciplinary practice in order to tackle the educational challenges of the Romanian students enrolled at Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu" and improve their digital literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and creativity, has reached the final month of implementation. 

During the main project activities, the 2 project coordinators, Mrs. Adelaida Loredana Iorga and Mrs. Claudia Emilia Frînculeasă,  applied and promoted the knowledge and experience gained as a result of their participation as beneficiaries in the national training programme for Romanian teachers CRED - „Curriculum Relevant, Educație Deschisă pentru toți/Relevant Curriculum, Education Open to All".

In November 2022, the teachers selected the project team and got their parental consent.

In December 2022, the participants were guided to create Canva presentations of their favourite books in Romanian and English.

In January 2023, the 3rd edition of the transdisciplinary competition of multimedia presentations created by the students brought a lot of satisfaction to all the participants, not only the winners.

In February 2023, the students participated in the competition entitled Literary Quotes Illustrated, which allowed them to create virtual posters based on their favourite literary quotes,  working individually or collaboratively and improving their critical and creative thinking and digital skills.

In March 2023, the feedback and evaluation collected from the participants revealed the positive impact of the initiative and we are looking forward to upgrading this educational experience by transforming it into an international partnership next year.
