We are valuable with values! The first online teachers' meeting on 18 October 2022

On 18th October 2022, the international coordinators and partners implementing the eTwinning project "We Are Valuable with Values" (2022-2023) met online to get to know each other better, discuss the project calendar and responsibilities, identify ways of promoting and fostering international cooperation, share experience, suggestions and valuable ideas to ensure the eTwinning quality standards.

The online meeting was an opportunity for the teachers to encourage and create team spirit, build intercultural dialogue and collect feedback from peers, make recommendations about the resources to be used and designed and the strategies to be selected for online collaboration among the pupils from the partner schools.

Other important aspects involved not only the choice and use of ICT - according to the teachers' preferences and competences as well as the ages and needs of the pupils involved, but also the necessity to follow the GDPR, copyright and eSafety rules.

"We Are Valuable with Values" - the first eTwinning project implemented by Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu" on the new ESE platform

 In September 2022, the first 2 teachers from Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu" - Mrs. Emilia Frinculeasa (teacher of English) and Mrs. Adelaida Iorga (teacher of Romanian) - became members of the international eTwinning project "We Are Valuable with Values", coordinating their class of 5th graders in order to enrich their knowledge, develop their skills and key competences and improve their attitudes, behaviours and value systems.

So far, we have informed the pupils and the parents about the project aims and main activities, we instructed them about the eTwinning Code of conduct and the project rules for acceptable online behaviour, we got the parental consent from all the participants, we created a project logo proposal and shared introductions of our students and teachers. We also filled in the teachers' initial questionnaire and contributed to the teachers' padlet on the topic of the most important human values and shared our top 5 values with the rest of the project team. We also created a collaborative WordArt image with greetings in different languages.

An acrostic poem was created to inspire our project team members to work together in order to reach all our objectives and aims:

Peace Poems and Posters for EDL 2022

The teacher of English, Mrs. Teodorescu Violeta, coordinated the creative writing workshop dedicated to this year's theme of the European Day of Languages, PEACE:

The students enrolled in classes 9A and XIU, coordinated by their teacher of French - Mrs. Mareș Cristina, created beautiful posters to celebrate the European Day of Languages 2022.
