The field trip organised on 20 October 2024 to the Mud Volcanoes in the Berca and Scortoasa communes, Buzău county, attested since 1867, declared a natural monument in 1924 and a UNESCO Geopark since 2022, offered the eTwinning project participants enrolled at Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu" an enriching, hands-on learning experience, enhancing their understanding of geography, history and environmental conservation.
This immersive experience promoted cross-cultural collaboration, allowing the Romanian students to share insights with their international peers from France, Greece and Turkey, aligning their personal development goals with the educational goals of the partnership. It was an opportunity for everyone present to engage with the world heritage and contribute meaningfully to the success of our project.
