Santa (by Ruxandra Petroșel)
In the silence of the night
When the candles burn so bright
A magic man dressed all in rubies
Visits your house, just like in movies;
He sprinkles joy, kindness and love
While ice fairies fall from above.
People everywhere have heard of him,
His face is unknown, we only know his hymn;
Every time you hear the goofy “ho ho ho’s”,
You shout cheerfully “Oh, it’s Santa Claus!”
Father Christmas gifts each one
On his list with what’s desired.
But he also reminds us to have fun
And acknowledge what we’ve acquired.
Santa travels lots and lots
To warm our souls with his thoughts;
He mutters slowly words that glisten:
“Although you are here or at a distance
I will graciously wish you a Merry Christmas!”
Dear Santa (by Daria Mazilu)
I hope you are alright
And you have no positive covid tests
Because there won’t be a Merry Christmas
As we would expect.
We’d like to be together
Everywhere and anyhow,
But we know this isn’t possible,
We’re just wandering around.
Yes, we understand
That we should stay home and safe
No parties and no gatherings,
But all we want to say
Is that we want back the Christmas
That we always had,
With no rules and no restrictions,
This is all that we ask.
If you could bring us a vaccine, Santa,
This would mean so much
And we promise we’ll be good
For the rest of our lives.
Santa Claus (by Georgiana Gioroc)
Santa Claus is coming to town
And it's snowing all around!
He drives his sleigh all through the night
To bring us all that is bright.
He delivers Christmas gifts
To every single child
Even the ones who haven’t been
Too meek or far too kind.
Wearing his warm red coat,
Remembering each and every note,
Down the chimney, with a smile
After travelling many a mile!
Christmas Poem (by Casian Drugea)
The holidays have arrived,
I decorated the Christmas tree,
And in the greatest hurry
I’m creating a greetings card.
Relatives, friends and everyone,
Remind yourselves you exist!
Forgetting how once upon a time,
Children went from gate to gate.
Pick up the receiver and call!
Stop looking on the internet,
For old, very old text messages,
And always too impersonal.
Christmas Poem (by Monalisa Huduncă)
Now we have grown up, don't believe in Santa anymore,
We're not the children that we were before.
But instead, in miracles we do believe,
And the Christmas spirit will not leave.
Although there are hard times with the face mask,
We have just a little favour to ask:
We want the planet cured back, no virus, no pain,
We want to hug our entire world again!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas Joy (by Daniela Burghiu)
Snowflakes fall slowly
And they lie on the frozen ground;
The carol-singers reach the doors
To bring us all a lot of joy.
Children open their gifts,
Many miracles happen:
People gather together
To celebrate Christmas.
Everyone feels the spirit of Christmas
in their own special way
Some by doing good deeds,
others by having fun,
But we all enjoy a wonderful feast.
Christmas Poem (by Andreea Ciortan)
In our warm hearts, Christmas has arrived,
Everything seems much more alive,
Everywhere you find the beautiful blanket of snow,
And there is much more you need to know…
The wonderful Santa Claus will appear,
At night, to cheer up the atmosphere,
He will bring so many gifts,
For the happiness of all the kids.
Poem for Christmas (by Randa Saadeh)
The most beautiful time of the year has arrived,
We need to show the world that we are kind
And stay with our loved ones on Christmas night
Waiting for the blessing of Lord, that little light...
Unfortunately, this year something has changed
Because of the pandemic, special means something else.
And all the world is now sunk in sadness
But for Christmas we have to show up gladness!
Christmas Wish (by Claudiu Cîrmacianu)
Oh, beautiful Christmas,
Full of joy and thankfulness,
The greatest of the celebrations
It is time for reconciliation!
May God forgive our sins,
May we learn from our mistakes
To create a better tomorrow
Without hatred and cynicism.
Christmassy (by Rareș Constantin)
Snowflakes falling on the trees
From spruce to pine to evergreen
Moonlight shines throughout the land
Sparking joy in every heart.
Next to burning ember light
Stockings lie in sheer delight
As we gather round the tree
Watching it with mighty glee.
Grandma baking apple tarts
While the children's carols start
Songs of old and new tradition
Spreading joy is their ambition.
Christmas spirit’s won us all
As the clouds begin to fall
Bringing us together home
Like a spell from an old tome.
At home for Christmas (by Antonia Nedelcu)
For a really special Christmas
You should have a celebration
With your family at home,
No more partying, just stay safe
Waiting for the Lord to bless you
And, of course, for Santa Claus
With a good vaccine for all!
The Masked Santa (by Bianca Ivan)
Santa Claus is coming,
He’s coming to town
But now he looks so weird
And I guess we all know why.
He's wearing a face mask
And very thick gloves too,
He doesn't come close to us,
He stands away, afraid to move.
You could think he is upset,
But he is just really worried
About our family’s health.
"We’re still in a pandemic!”
He says shedding a tear,
“I hope to hug you all with love,
When I return next year!"
Together for Christmas (by Ștefania Mareș)
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Today is a special day,
Today we are home for Christmas,
To spend a happy time together,
With family and a few friends.
The fir-tree is now decorated,
The wood burns in our stove,
And we are all hopeful and happy,
Listening to Christmas songs.
Christmas Wish (by Berti Grigore)
I've been waiting for Christmas,
And it’s almost here.
I've been waiting for Christmas,
But it’s not like last year.
In 2020, we’ve had our share of pain
I know better times are coming,
I just wish they were here.
The years of Christmas past
Seem like a beautiful dream,
But for this corona virus
Turning our lives upside down!
I feel a better time is coming,
I just wish it were here now.
It’s Christmas! (by Lavinia Morogan)
Christmas is coming soon
With Santa on his sleigh.
And we are ready for his arrival
With warm milk and some cake.
Under the beautifully-adorned tree
We will find his generous gifts
But Christmas is not about them
It's about spending time with family.
It’s Christmas! (by Antonia Moise)
Christmas is coming
The whole world is getting ready
For Santa and for Rudolf
To bring beautiful gifts
Under the decorated Christmas trees.
The Christmas spirit (by Ruxandra Iordache)
Christmas is coming
And we are all waiting for it.
The snowflakes are falling
While we are decorating the tree.
Christmas time is the season
When we try to be really good,
'Cause Santa's watching us all
To remind us that we should.
Christmas Today (by Patricia Băcanu)
Christmas, the children's favorite holiday,
With Santa Claus and his elves,
With family nights of singing carols
And sharing gifts with love.
That time of year still brings us closer,
Even if we cannot meet
‘Cause meeting everyone in person
Might cause them to get sick.
So, no more present lists from me
This year I only have one wish:
Dear Santa Claus, instead of gifts
Give us a world without covid!
A Christmas like no other (by Bogdan Ioan Neculai Iustinian)
This Christmas is much more
Different than the others,
But we still can be together
With our mums and our dads,
Our sisters and our brothers.
One year ago, for example,
Me and one of my friends
Went carolling in the village,
But now everything has changed,
And all the songs are thrown away.
In these awful circumstances
We'll have to stay home only
That's what Christmas will be like
But at least, we'll not be lonely.
I really hope that soon enough
The snowflakes will start falling
And that it will make everyone
Feel the spirit of Christmas
The one we use to have and love.
Magic Christmas Fairytale (by Teodora Urduzan)
Christmas...
A simple word that brings us joy
And unites our souls
Carols are heard everywhere
And a magical landscape
Is created by the snow.
With families getting together,
And everything so wonderful
The smell of cinnamon
Brings everyone under the tree
Where we can unwrap our gifts
And count our blessings.
This year (by Maria Ceompec)
This year has been different from all points of view
For instance, there is always a mask waiting for you,
We have had to keep our social distance, too.
Santa, please, tell me, what will you do?
Christmas is my favorite moment of the year
And I hope that you'll do anything to be here.
You'll have to make things different, do you hear me?
You can’t leave us alone near the Christmas tree.
It's Christmas time (by Elena Panait)
It’s the time of carols and gifts,
Of the decorated homes and trees,
Of the arrival of Father Christmas!
A time of hope and joy,
So that from now on,
The whole world of beloved children
May become more loving and better people.
A special gift, happiness (by Ștefania Vlad)
It’s finally Christmas time,
The time of joy, love and kindness!
Santa Claus is on his way
To bring us presents and happiness,
To melt the children’s hearts
And all the parents’souls.
But how can we welcome Santa Claus?
We become kinder and more diligent
And serve him some homemade scones!
So this is Christmas? (by Ștefania Stoica)
Our Christmas was nice
Until this virus spread around
And now, when Santa comes
With a face mask and some pills
He will find no friends and no relatives
‘Cause everyone will meet online.
A different kind of Christmas (by Elena State)
Christmas is that holiday
Full of magic, light and colour,
When all the children are eagerly waiting
For Santa to appear on their way.
But this year everything’s different
And Santa is wearing a face mask
Because there's still a pandemic
And the world hasn't recovered yet.
On Christmas Day (by Victoria Cîrstea)
It's Christmas Day,
And we're all happy
The lights are blinking
And the stars are twinkling.
My mom has baked some cookies
And the smell of Christmas is here
We give presents to each other,
On behalf of Santa and his reindeer.
Christmas is coming (by Ștefan Bratosin)
The snow's covering the world,
This makes me really happy
Santa should come with all our gifts
While I'm staying with my family.
The Christmas lights are like the stars
And the city is their sky
I see snowmen in all the yards
This beautiful scenery makes me cry.
A Christmas Dream (by Nicoleta Andrei)
This year can be so special
If you forget about the mask
And for a glorious moment
You remember your loved ones.
Wearing a mask is no reason
To keep your spiritual distance
So, let’s allow the birth of Jesus
To make our world more peaceful.
The Magic of Christmas (by Adelin Murea)
The magical holiday season has come,
Full of joy and lots of other gifts,
The snow is falling on the ground
Like a bright white cloak, to bring us peace.
Impatient children are waiting for Father Christmas
And his sleigh arrives on Christmas Eve,
With lots of desired presents and fulfilled wishes
With a lot of surprises and a lot of relief.
Christmas Poem (by Adrian Teodor)
The Christmas tree is shining
Like the presents under its leaves
The family lunch is our tradition
So I help my mother set the table for it.
What is Christmas? (by Adelin- Petrisor Cîrstian)
Christmas is fast approaching
Among the snowflakes in the distance,
And Santa comes quickly, too,
With health, happiness and gifts.
But Christmas is not about a present,
Family is the spirit of Christmas itself;
So, don't forget to enjoy their presence
And be there for those you love best.
The Magic of Christmas (by Marian Cojocaru)
Christmas, the loveliest holiday,
Both magical and fun,
Turns our world into a fairy land
And makes the children smile.
Santa Claus brings us presents,
Our homes are warm and cosy,
The fir-trees have been decorated
And the carol-singers are ready.
A different Christmas (by Claudiu Eduard Radu)
Christmas is the holiday
Which makes every child happy
Not only for the snow outside
But also for the gifts brought by Santa.
This year, it will be different
As Santa may not come this way
We’ll be at home with our family
Staying safe and taking care of them.
The joy of the Christmas (by Alexandra Botan)
Christmas, the beautiful holiday,
When we are better and we smile all day,
Without thinking sadly about
Receiving gifts with a mask over our mouth.
We decorate the Christmas tree with joy
And always in the snow we play,
Waiting for Santa Claus to come
With his traditional “ho, ho, ho”,
Bringing us such beautiful gifts
This is what I call Christmas bliss.
Christmas (by Beniamin Pavel)
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho,
Santa is coming!
We are all looking forward to his arrival
On Christmas night!
Those who are good
Will receive lots of gifts,
And every family
Will stay together.
A Christmas Wish (by Daniel Pavel)
Christmas has come,
with many blessings,
Let us all rejoice,
Let's play, children!
Let's wait happily
For the coming of Santa Claus,
And let our childlike spirit
Share happiness and joy.
Christmas (by Victor Andrei Furtună)
It's the time of the year,
when you spend your time with family
and wait,
for the big, old man in red.
You wait under the tree,
the magical one,
Able to make presents appear,
overnight.
Christmas for Me (by Bianca Zota)
Christmas is a day you can't compare,
Because your family is always there,
Even in the cold of night,
When people are full of light.
I really love this season,
Because it gives us all a reason
To start being good with everyone
Build a kind world under the sun!
The table has so much good food,
We are all in our best mood,
Christmas is a special day,
Every child wants to play.
We are all on the floor,
Carolers knock at the door
They sing us a carol,
They sing us a Christmas song...
Christmas Poem (by Antonia Panait)
Christmas is different this year,
The pandemic spread all over the place
Nothing is familiar anymore I fear
But we have to find our strength.
Carols are no longer sung at the door
We have to keep our distance;
But Christmas is still here and for us all
We must do our best to keep its brilliance.
All I want from Santa (by Alexandra State)
On Christmas night
Santa will show up
And, in the distance,
We will see a light.
Santa and his sleigh
Will be flying in the sky
To bring my gift of peace
And vanish in the dark.
Santa Claus (by Ovidiu Vlădescu)
Santa's handing out the presents
From an enchanted sack;
We take out as much as we can
Then thank him from our heart.
Horses, toy trains, dolls and gadgets
Chocolate, candy, gingerbread,
All the children get excited
And then refuse to go to bed.
Christmas Day (by Margarita Ghica)
It's Christmas day,
In the morning we pray,
While kids have fun
Outside, in the sun.
All covered in snow
It doesn't really show
They like it inside
But who really cares?
When you go downstairs
There are presents everywhere
And everyone feels great.
A Christmas Story (by Andra Ivan)
Last night in bed,
we wrote a perfect poem
about Christmas in our heads.
The words sparkled,
the carol lyrics shone,
And then we opened our eyes
and all the words were gone.
The poem may be lost
But Santa came to our house
And he restored our hope.
Christmas Poem (by Anna Ghica)
It's the 25th of December
But do you remember
What is celebrated
On this special date?
We all know and say
It's our Saviour's birthday!
He came on the earth
To show us God's worth.
So in that case
We all should show grace
That's why we celebrate
On this specific date.
Come Closely (by Daiana Ariciu)
Listen closely so you can hear the Christmas bells ring!
Listen closely to the carolers who start to sing!
Listen to the kids writing to Santa asking for everything!
Look at all the pure and bright snow!
Look at all the children making snowballs ready to throw!
Look at all the Christmas Trees sharing their glow!
No Time like Christmas (by Alexia Deliu)
Jingles in the air,
Snow falling slowly on the ground,
Cinnamon and orange smells all around.
Let’s go back home
Christmas is a time to spend together
A family celebration everywhere.
What a stressful year!
But when round the fir-tree we gather
We feel only love and hug each other.
Where is Santa Claus? (by Răzvan State)
Winter has come,
We even have some snow
But Santa hasn’t come
Maybe something is wrong.
Maybe he’s lost his mask
And now he’s looking for it
We’re waiting in the house
For him to bring us gifts.
Gifts for Christmas (by Roxana Popescu)
Santa Claus is coming to our town
Snowflakes are dancing all around
We hear the sleigh bells ringing
Santa Claus has just arrived!
The sack is empty right now,
The kids have all his presents!
But he’ll come again next year
So just be a good person!
Have a Merry Christmas! (by Iuliana Toncu)

That makes you happy;
So, stay with your family
And enjoy the special day.
Decorate the fir-tree
Open a gift or two,
Sit down at the table
And eat Christmas food.
Christmas is coming! (by Bianca Bulfei)
Christmas is not just about Santa
It is the feast of Christ.
It is about love, happiness and kindness
With family and friends.
Because this day is holy
And nobody should feel lonely.
Missing Christmas (by Lucia Piștea)
I’ve always loved Christmas,
It’s been my favorite time,
And when Covid just showed up
I still thought we would be fine.
I used to wait for it every year
To spend this time together,
With my family and my friends
But this year is harder than ever.
Christmas is a new season
When you feel much better,
When you're waiting for the snow
And it feels like “it's forever”.
I want the old days back,
The old Christmas again,
When the things were good
When there wasn't any pain.
While waiting for the presents
To appear in our house,
We only wish for normal days
And to go back to class.
I’ve said this thing once
And I'll say it again,
I miss you, old Christmas,
I miss the days without this pain.
A Magical Time (by Andra Stanciu)
Christmas is that day of the year,
When children play and sing without fear,
They are waiting to open their presents
And feel the magic that surrounds them.
Santa is very generous and kind,
His gifts bring joy to our hearts,
Every December, on the 25th,
Christmas is magical every year!
Christmas Wishes (by Daniel Badea)
I want a laptop for Christmas,
Some sweets and fruit as well,
Because I am a good child,
And get very good grades.
My sister wants fruit and sweets,
She loves them very much;
Our parents want only good health
The most important present.
Happy for Christmas (by Irina Japie)
Santa is coming tonight
With jingle bells swinging in the air
His reindeer are flying through the stars
And joy is spread everywhere.
All are happy
And wait for gifts from Santa!
Santa Claus (by Ștefania Stătescu)
His clothes are red,
He's wearing white gloves
He is old and generous
Long and white is his beard.
He's wearing a red costume
His sleigh is driven by reindeer
Which can fly round the world
To make wishes come true.
A Happy and Safe Christmas (by Vlăduț Chiriac)
It's December,
Santa Claus is coming,
I'm so impatient to adorn the tree!
The snow is not here yet
It's cold, but not enough.
Everybody wants to celebrate
The birth of Jesus Christ.
This year is also the first time
When we can't go carol-singing,
It's the first time when on New Year's Eve
There will be no huge festivities.
Christmas Feast (by Beatrice Popa)
December is the month of joy,
December is the month of gifts,
It's that month of the year,
When mom makes the best dishes.
Christmas is the special time
When all families get together
Around the Christmas tree,
Enjoying their loved ones’ presence.
Waiting for Christmas (by Darius Vasile)
Christmas is more than a day in December,
It’s all of those things that we love to remember,
For presents we are after,
For candy and joy,
I’ve been waiting for Christmas
I’ve been a good boy.
A Merry, Merry Christmas! (by Ștefan Șindrilaru)
Oh, Christmas, wonderful feast,
Celebrating the birth of Jesus!
All our wishes can come true
If we have been kind and good.
Everyone listens to lovely carols
And thinks about our Lord;
Everything is so bright and beautiful
And the snow outside is so soft.
But on this day full of good,
You have to do your best for all:
For the people who have nothing,
For all the children in the world.
God will come to you surely
And give you the best of Him
You have do to nothing more
Than to be a good Christian.
Our dear Santa (by Roxana Georgescu)
On snowy paths
Through frozen windows,
A jolly face can be seen,
Who is it?
He's our dear old man,
Who comes every year,
With big and small gifts
For all the good children.
